CONCACAF

CONCACAF stands for the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football. It is one of six continental governing bodies for soccer (football) recognized by FIFA, the international governing body for the sport. CONCACAF oversees and promotes the game of soccer in its member countries, which include nations in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. It is responsible for organizing various competitions, such as the CONCACAF Gold Cup and the CONCACAF Champions League, as well as the qualification process for the FIFA World Cup for its member nations. The confederation aims to develop soccer within its region and improve the standard of play among its member associations.
