NBA

The NBA, or National Basketball Association, is a professional basketball league in North America comprised of 30 teams, divided into two conferences: the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. Founded in New York City on June 6, 1946, as the Basketball Association of America (BAA), it later merged with the National Basketball League (NBL) in 1949 and was renamed the NBA. The league is known for its high level of competition and features some of the best basketball players in the world. NBA teams play an 82-game regular season, followed by playoffs and culminating in the NBA Finals, where the conference champions compete for the championship title. The NBA is recognized for its influence on basketball culture globally and for its contributions to the sport’s development, including its impact on international basketball and the entertainment industry.
